Lizera stars in DPS-MIS win


DPS-MIS School registered a 34- run win over Pak Shama School and College in the QCA organized girls cricket tournament at West Bay Ground.

Batting first, DPS-MIS School scored 119 runs losing three wickets in their allotted 20 overs. A fine 70 runs by Lizera was the highlight of the innings.

In reply, Pak Shama were bowled out for 85 runs. Lizera was declared player of the match.

In another match, Al Khor International School registered a69 run over Birla Public School. Al Khor piled up 152 runs, losing three wickets in their allotted 20 overs with Srigreeshma(47), Priyanka(55) and Rishika claimed two wickets each for Al Khor. Priyanka was declared Player of the match.

 The third match saw QCA-2 defeat MES Club by six wickets.

A fine 35 by Ishani helped MES make 105 for 4. She ably supported by Latha Dakshinamurthy who scored 30. Safa bagged three wickets for QCA-2.

In reply,QCA-2 achieved their target of 106 in 18 overs with Madhu and Minal scoring 24 and 22 respectively.
